How Planets Give Results In Transit

Most astrologers just check the transit from either lagna that is ascendant or from Moon Sign in a horoscope. Actually the finer results of any planet transit should be assessed from below four points -

1. From Ascendant

2. From Moon Sign

3. From,the position of natal planets in the chart

4. From Nakshatra over which the planet is transiting.

All these are being discussed below with examples.

1. From Ascendant

Make Lagna the focal point then check which bhava or house the planets are transiting from your lagna. This is the basic way to check the transit from lagna. For instance if saturn and rahu are transiting over the lagna then the health of the native may get affected during this period. If Mars is transiting in the seventh house from the lagna it is indicative of negative results with respect to the bhavas owened by Mars in that horoscope. . 

2. From Moon Sign

Where Moon is posited in then horoscope, check the house where planets are transiting from the Moon. This is important as Moon is the significator of Mind. and how we experience the life is seen through moon.

3. From Natal Planets

This is the least used by most astrolgers but should never be ignored as the results may not tally. Wher your natal Jupiter is placed in the chart and where currently Saturn is transiting has a great degree of importance in gleaning the transit results. For exmaple if natal Jupiteris in Leo sign and Saturn is transting capricorn sign. That is from natal Jupiter, Saturn is transiting the seventh bhava, its effect is grossly ignored.

4. From Nakshatra

Tara milan is important. From the janm Nakshatra or the birth constellation, the planets' transit in the third, fifth and seventh tara is not considered very auspiciuous. So this also must be examined.

Understanding transit from Natal Moon/ Rashi

Please understand that Sun gives positive results when transiting the 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th bhava from the natal Moon. And in all the other bhavs the results are mostly negative. But we will focus on which bhava is most negative for different planets.

1. Sun in transit gives bad results particularly in 5th bhava from Moon sign. Your patience level will go down when sun is in 5th from moon, affecting your mind and emotions..

2. Moon in transit gives negative results in 2/4/5/8/9/11 12 houses from natal moon. Transit Moon in 3rd house and 6th house from natal moon is considered very good. This point shoud be should while making assessment. The transit of Moon in the eight house from natal Moon is also negative result giving for the simple reasons of eight house negativity. It increases depressive tendency,.

3. Mars in transit gives negative results in seventh house from natal Moon. Mars works well when transiting 3/6/11 houses from Natal Moon. Aggression comes out in the wrong place thats why Mars is considered bad here. It affects either partnership or marital life negatively.

4.Mercury transit in second house from natal Moon gives bad results

5. Jupiter transiting the third house from natal moon gives particularly negative results. Guru in third from Moon will be in kam trikon. Where it does not give good results. It makes you passive & submissive and affects your decision making ability also. It may lead to transfer and change of place, possibility of disease or falling ill and loss of status also.

6. In sixth house from natal moon, Venus gives not so good results.  Venus is known to increase the signification of the houses it is posited in the twelfth house, fourth house from itself. Likewise when Venus is in sixth from natal Moon in transit, it will be fourth from the third house and twelfth from the seventh house. This makes your opposition stronger. We consider opposition from seventh and third here. Thats why this position of Venus is particularly not good. Please note that the natal Venus in the sixth house is considred very good though.

7. Saturn effects are negative when transiting one house before and after natal Moon and also when it transts over the natal moon. This is what we call Sade sati period.

8. Similarly, Rahu & Ketu transiting the 9th house from the natal moon is more negative than other bhavas.
